FIP.am is the leading fact-checking website in Armenia.

The main goal of FIP.am is to disclose the information published by officials, official bodies and the media which is not true.

While preparing the materials our reporters adhere to the rules of journalism ethics as well as the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. We do not represent interests of any political party or other group.

Prevention of the dissemination of obvious disinformation is a top priority for our journalists.

By dissemination of information our team will not promote, incite or justify aggressive wars, human rights abuses, crimes against humanity or nature.

The Union of Informed Citizens is the parent organization of the FIP. The “Our Organisation” section on UIC’s website mentions that the Union of Informed Citizens is a non-governmental organization, which aims at raising public awareness regarding important issues. We intend to minimize misinformation and its impact on shaping public opinion and decision-making.

On the same page, you can also find information about the organization’s vision, mission, management, and the official registration document attached.
