On September 29, Azerbaijani drones again crossed the air border of the Republic of Armenia and launched strikes in the direction of military and civilian infrastructure in the Vardenis region, also targeting civilians by bombing a civilian bus and killing one civilian.
The Fact Investigation Platform visited the affected communities and showed the effects of the Azerbaijani attack on the territory of Norakert community.
The other targets of the Azerbaijani attack were the villages on the right side of the Vardenis-Sotk highway, namely Shatjrek, Geghamabak, Shatvan, and other villages.
In the very middle of the Shatjrek-Geghamabak inter-community road, there was a fresh trace of Azerbaijani shelling.
Two more shells fell in the area of Shatvan community at a distance of about 200 meters from each other.
On the map you can see the videos testifying to the Azerbaijani shelling.
It should be reminded that in the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack along the entire line of contact with Artsakh, at the same time keeping peaceful settlements under fire, including the capital Stepanakert. On the same day, the Azerbaijani UAVs also entered the territory of Armenia, one of which was downed by the Armenian Armed Forces in the territory of Lusakunk village.
